Privacy Policy

When you use CVAgent, we collect information you provide directly — such as your name, email address, and the resume documents you upload. We also collect standard usage data such as pages visited, actions taken, and browser/device type for the purpose of improving the platform.

Resume documents are used solely to perform the analysis or generation you requested. We do not store your resume content beyond 30 days, and we never share, sell, or use your documents to train AI models without explicit consent. Account information is used to provide and personalise the service.

Uploaded resume files are automatically deleted from our servers within 30 days of upload. Derived analysis outputs (scores, suggestions) are retained in your account until you delete them or close your account. You can request immediate deletion at any time by contacting contact@cvagent.in.

CVAgent uses third-party services including cloud infrastructure providers and AI API providers to process your data. These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes. Your resume content is never shared with advertisers or used to target advertising.

CVAgent shows advertising on some pages to keep the free tools free. We use Google AdSense for this.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to CVAgent and other sites on the internet. Third parties may also place and read cookies in your browser, or use web beacons, to collect information during your visit.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings at https://www.google.com/settings/ads, and you can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at https://www.aboutads.info. You choose when you first visit. Accepting allows analytics cookies and personalised ads. Declining turns analytics off entirely and switches advertising to non-personalised, which means ads are chosen from the page you are reading rather than from a profile of you. Until you answer, we run no analytics and serve only non-personalised ads. Every tool on CVAgent works identically either way, and you can change your answer by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Advertising cookies are separate from the cookies that keep you signed in. We do not pass your name, email address, resume or any document you upload to any advertising network.

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest) to protect your data. Resume processing occurs in isolated, ephemeral compute environments. Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You may export your account data via the settings page. To request full data deletion, email contact@cvagent.in. We will process requests within 14 business days.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of CVAgent after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
