CVAgent (“we”, “our”, or “the platform”) is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the controls you have over your data.
1. Information We Collect
When you use CVAgent, we collect information you provide directly — such as your name, email address, and the resume documents you upload. We also collect standard usage data such as pages visited, actions taken, and browser/device type for the purpose of improving the platform.
2. How We Use Your Information
Resume documents are used solely to perform the analysis or generation you requested. We do not store your resume content beyond 30 days, and we never share, sell, or use your documents to train AI models without explicit consent. Account information is used to provide and personalise the service.
3. Data Retention
Uploaded resume files are automatically deleted from our servers within 30 days of upload. Derived analysis outputs (scores, suggestions) are retained in your account until you delete them or close your account. You can request immediate deletion at any time by contacting support@cvagent.ai.
4. Third-Party Services
CVAgent uses third-party services including cloud infrastructure providers and AI API providers to process your data. These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes. We do not use advertising networks.
5. Security
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest) to protect your data. Resume processing occurs in isolated, ephemeral compute environments. Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You may export your account data via the dashboard settings page. To request full data deletion, email privacy@cvagent.ai. We will process requests within 14 business days.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of CVAgent after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
