1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CVAgent (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free-tier and paid subscribers.
2. Description of Service
CVAgent provides AI-powered resume analysis, scoring, building, editing, and portfolio generation tools. The Service is provided "as is" and is subject to change. We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove features at any time.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You may not share your account with others. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account. CVAgent is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised account use.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use CVAgent to upload malicious files, attempt to reverse-engineer the AI systems, circumvent usage limits, scrape or automate requests beyond normal use, or use the Service for any unlawful purpose. Violations may result in immediate account termination.
5. Intellectual Property
CVAgent owns all intellectual property rights in the platform, including the AI models, scoring algorithms, and template designs. You retain ownership of the content you upload (your resume). By uploading, you grant CVAgent a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content solely to provide the Service.
6. Payments and Refunds
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All charges are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
CVAgent does not guarantee that your resume will pass any specific ATS system, that you will receive interview invitations, or that AI-generated content is error-free. The Service is provided as an aid, not a guarantee of employment outcomes.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CVAgent shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
